Job Title: Systems and Applications Engineer

Location: Greater Philadelphia, PA

Duration: Direct Hire Full Time Role

JOB SUMMARY:

• We are looking for an Electrical engineer to work on Systems and Applications engineering projects related to the development of power semiconductors.

Responsibilities:

• Design switch mode power supplies and/or motor drive applications (demo and evaluation)
• Debug circuits and applications
• Simulate power electronics circuits
• Test competitive products
• Help customers with their designs
• Collaborate with development team to enhance existing/future designs from an application standpoint

Qualifications:

• BSEE, MSEE preferred, or equivalent years of experience
• Experience in AC-to-DC and/or DC-to-DC converter design, including detailed analysis of system efficiency and power loss breakdown, thermal analysis, and debugging
• Proficient in Diode, MOSFET & Driver IC characteristics
• Spice simulation of power switching circuits; MATLAB/Simulink desirable
• Embedded controls software desirable
• General power electronics lab experience (oscilloscope, power supplies, isolation)
