Job summary

AEP is seeking a Dist. Line Crew Supervisor NE to supervise a line crew and perform Line Mechanic A duties in distribution, overhead, and underground work. You will plan procedures, direct crew members, and apply sound judgment to ensure safe, reliable service.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, two years as Line Mechanic A, a valid Class A CDL and a valid driver's license. You must live within 30 miles of the South Point Service Center and uphold safety and equal opportunity

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years as qualified as a Line Mechanic A.
• Valid Class A CDL and state driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct a line crew in safe construction, maintenance, operation and retirement of distribution lines.
• As a member of a line crew, perform duties of a Line Mechanic A as needed.
• Direct line switching and service restoration to ensure prompt, reliable customer service.
