American Electric Power (AEP) is seeking a Dist. Line Crew Supervisor NE to oversee a line crew responsible for the safe construction, maintenance, and retirement of distribution lines in the assigned area.
The role requires leadership experience and coordination of switching operations for reliable service. Candidates should have two years as Line Mechanic A, a valid CDL Class A, and a strong safety culture.
Responsible to assigned Line Management for supervising the work of a line crew and performing the work of a Line Mechanic A. The type of work involves construction operation and maintenance of distribution, overhead and underground facilities. Activities associated with the performance of this work include planning procedures, directing or supervising assigned crew members, and exercising independent judgment.
Dist. Line Crew Supervisor NE (SG8): $132,080 or $63.50 an hour
