Job summary

United Utility Services is seeking a Designer for overhead electric distribution projects to strengthen the client’s grid. You will process field survey data, circuit drawings, utility standards, and feeder upgrades using GIS and a provided work management system.

The role requires 3–5 years of power distribution design/engineering, AutoCAD/Design Manager experience, and strong communication with clients. A valid driver's license and background check are required; on-site work in Denver, CO is

Qualifications

• Power distribution design/engineering experience 3–5 years.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Update GIS software to reflect current field conditions.
• Design and process construction work requests for overhead electric distribution systems.
• Prepare CAD drawings and ensure QA review of designs.
• Prepare distribution circuit designs with basic understanding of drawings and concepts.
• Assist with cost estimates and required project documents.
