Job summary

Entergy's Power Development organization seeks a motivated intern to support the development and management of utility-scale power projects from initial opportunity evaluation through preliminary engineering, contracting and project approval.

The intern will assist with project analysis, cost estimation, stakeholder coordination, documentation, and other project management tasks while gaining practical experience in traditional project development.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in Undergraduate or Master’s degree in Engineering, PM, Construction Science/Management, Economics, Business or related discipline.
• Minimum GPA 2.8 on a 4.0 scale.
• Some work experience beneficial but not required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office/365 tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Assist with project economic analysis, data gathering, and financial modeling.
• Support site assessment, permitting identification, and feasibility documentation.
• Help develop project proposals with summaries, specs, data, and presentations.
• Coordinate project documentation and contract support including RFP responses.
• Research industry trends, regulatory developments and competitive landscape.
• Prepare project reports, spreadsheets, and presentations; assist process improvements.
• Assist with MISO interconnection request preparation and track milestones.
