Job summary

Entergy seeks a Student Intern in Project Delivery for Summer 2027 in New Orleans, LA. You will work with engineers to design transmission-line solutions, model field configurations, and support projects from planning through construction.

The role requires you to be actively enrolled in an engineering program (Electrical/Mechanical/Civil) with a minimum 2.8 GPA. Onsite work with potential travel up to 25% provides hands-on experience in grid reliability and project execution.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in a bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral program in an engineering field.
• Must be sophomores or beyond at time of hire.
• Minimum GPA of 2.8 (on a 4.0 scale) verified by transcript.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers in day-to-day activities within the project delivery team.
• Design optmized transmission-line solutions based on scope and site visits.
• Model surveyed field configurations using design software.
• Estimate project costs and ensure materials are ordered and staged.
• Support construction projects with documentation and meetings.
• Help improve grid reliability and participate in special projects.
• Respond to equipment failures and maintain models/drawings.
