Job summary

Stantec in Deerfield Beach, FL is seeking a Project Manager to lead the design and delivery of large Power Delivery projects and to foster strong client relationships across staff, offices and disciplines.

This hands‑on role requires problem‑solving, a safety focus, and the ability to travel domestically (and possibly internationally). Stantec supports flexible work location with options to work from home or an office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in project management, preferably for Power Delivery projects.
• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or sciences is required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) is preferred.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred.
• Strong project management skills, with experience in organizing, planning, and executing projects from pursuit through closeout.
• Travel to other offices as well as to project sites will be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver successful Power Delivery projects.
• Interact with staff at all levels and with clients and subcontractors.
• Protect health and safety of employees and the public.
• Maintain and enhance reputation with clients and agencies.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams during proposals, planning, feasibility, design, and construction.
• Manage resources, contracts, costs, and schedules to stay on track.
• Mentor and train future leaders and develop succession plans.
• Develop client relationships to facilitate project activities.
• Promote collaboration across business lines and geographies.
