Job summary

Jobgether SRL seeks a Project Controls Specialist in the United States to manage budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and portfolio reporting within Power Delivery programs. You will connect project execution with Finance, monitor risks, and help standardize project-control processes.

The role requires a strong background in Deltek Vantagepoint, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills, with experience in engineering, construction, or professional services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in project controls, project accounting, financial analysis, or another project-based financial role.
• Experience supporting engineering, construction, utilities, infrastructure, EPC, or professional-services projects.
• Strong budgeting, cost tracking, forecasting, financial reporting, and project performance analysis.
• Experience developing ETC and EAC forecasts.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
• Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint and related financial-reporting tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain project baselines, budgets, labor plans, and cost structures.
• Monitor actual hours and costs, analyze burn rates, and flag financial risks.
• Develop ETC and EAC forecasts with project managers, including rolling forecasts.
• Create portfolio reports covering budgets, costs, revenue, margins, backlog, and billing status.
• Coordinate with managers and Finance to support accurate invoicing and revenue recognition.
• Track contract amendments and changes to identify scope/budget risk.
• Conduct recurring financial reviews and track action items with project managers.
• Support workload forecasting using backlog, schedules, and anticipated awards.
• Develop standardized project-controls procedures and forecasting methods.
• Use Deltek Vantagepoint for budgeting, planning, and financial reporting.
