Job summary

E2 Consulting Engineers, LP in Pasadena, CA is seeking a Project Controls Specialist for the Power Delivery division to oversee project financial baselines, budgets, and cost structures while collaborating with project managers and Finance during the transition to Deltek Vantagepoint.

You will prepare ETC and EAC forecasts, support portfolio reporting, and coordinate billing to enable accurate revenue recognition and month-end closes, with emphasis on consistency and risk identification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5+ years of project-controls experience.
• Experience with engineering, construction, or professional services projects.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain project financial baselines, budgets, and cost structures.
• Track labor hours, costs, burn rates, and forecast variance.
• Develop ETC and EAC forecasts and rolling revenue/cost forecasts.
• Consolidate portfolio reporting including revenue, backlog and billing status.
• Coordinate with Finance for accurate invoicing and month-end processes.
• Support Deltek Vantagepoint implementation and user training.
