Job summary

PTS Advance in Corpus Christi, TX seeks an Assistant Project Manager III to support transmission and distribution/substation EPC projects. Based on-site, you will coordinate engineering, estimating, procurement, scheduling, and construction activities with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 4+ years of construction project experience in EPC/design-build/utility infrastructure.
• Experience with Power Delivery projects (substation, transmission, distribution) is highly desirable.
• Strong communication, organization, time management, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard PM tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement, scheduling, and construction activities throughout project execution.
• Support the Project Manager with project schedules, cost tracking, financial reviews, monthly reporting, and overall progress.
• Assist with subcontractor/vendor scopes, purchase orders, packages, and procurement activities.
• Participate in value engineering, constructability reviews, and project planning.
• Support RFI submittals, document control, and quality of deliverables.
• Coordinate with Safety personnel on project-specific safety plans, incident reporting, and investigations.
• Assist with project closeout, warranty administration, post-construction cost reviews, and lessons learned.
• Support additional project and proposal efforts as needed and act as PM when qualified and PM unavailable.
