Job summary

Mutual of Omaha Mortgage is seeking a Business Intelligence Reporting Analyst to focus on Power BI reporting, building dashboards and stories for business leaders across the US in a fully remote role with optional on-site offices in San Diego, Irvine, or Omaha.

You will migrate reporting inventory to a centralized semantic model, automate processes, support regulatory reporting, and maintain semantic models for performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a data or business intelligence focused role
• 3+ years creating BI dashboards and reports with Power BI
• 3+ years writing SQL queries for data mining
• Mortgage experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Report Development: build effective dashboards and reports using best practices in data presentation and design language
• Migrate existing reporting inventory to a centralized semantic model
• Automate/streamline manual processes
• Regulatory Reporting: monitor exceptions and resolve data discrepancies with business partners
• Collection and curation of data points from business partners
• Execute regulatory data preparation processes
• Validate datasets against system of record
• Maintain semantic model documentation and data lineage
• Maintain an index of all active reports and a reporting changelog
• Provide backfill support for ongoing team work
