Job summary

Inspirato, based in Denver, Colorado, is seeking a Reporting to the Manager, BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE & ANALYTICS. The role supports Power BI reporting, data modeling, and analytics to advance a data-driven culture across the organization.

You will develop dashboards, write DAX measures, and collaborate with IT and business teams to deliver insights. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 2–3 years of BI experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, including proficiency in the DAX formula language.
• Ability to develop data extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes via Power Query, with a working knowledge of the M query language.
• Experience creating dimensional data models such as star and snowflake schemas.
• Proven experience using data visualization techniques to create meaningful reports and dashboards.
• Able to translate business requirements into elegant and user-friendly reports and dashboards.
• Eager to effectively articulate ideas and solutions of a complex/technical nature to a broad audience.
• Experience with Power Automate (preferred).
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills for interaction with leadership.
• Experience with SQL or Python (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance and maintain reports, dashboards and analytics in the Power BI platform.
• Conceive and author DAX measures to allow for meaningful calculations and insight.
• Perform parallel work such as data integration, ETL and data model development and enhancement to support this effort.
• Work with the I.T. and Data Architecture teams and contracted resources as required to deliver best-in-class business intelligence to business stakeholders.
• Engage with business stakeholders across functions to identify opportunities for analytics and reporting enhancements.
• Identify data sources and help the business prepare data for integration.
• Foster a data-driven culture through adoption of data management best practices.
• Communicate data defects and collaborate to remedy them.
• Stay up-to-date on Power BI and Microsoft Power Platform functionality.
• Contribute BI expertise to special projects as needed.
