Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a contract Business Analyst with strong Power BI reporting and dashboard development to support financial reporting and data analytics initiatives.

You will partner with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements, translate them into analytics solutions, and develop robust data models and visualizations. The role also involves automating Excel-based processes and documenting data definitions.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and executive scorecards.
• Partner with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into analytics solutions.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and optimize Power BI data models, DAX calculations, Power Query transformations, and visualizations.
• Utilize SQL and other data sources to validate, extract, and analyze data.
• Streamline and automate existing manual and Excel-based reporting processes.
• Create and maintain documentation for reporting logic, data definitions, and business requirements.
