Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Business Analyst for a long-term contract with a leading utility company. This role focuses on reporting, data analysis, and operational insights using Excel and Power BI to help stakeholders track performance and inform decisions.

You will build dashboards, analyze large datasets, gather requirements, identify trends, and present findings to leaders. Experience with Power BI and Excel is required, with SQL and automation a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Business Analyst, Reporting Analyst, or Data Analyst experience.
• Experience building dashboards and reports in Power BI.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working with large datasets and reporting metrics.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations in Power BI.
• Analyze large datasets using advanced Excel functions.
• Gather and interpret business requirements from stakeholders.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through data analysis.
• Create recurring reports and automated reporting solutions.
