Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Financial Analyst with Power BI expertise to join our team. You will deliver financial budget and data analysis support, and build interactive dashboards from diverse data sources to provide insights for program offices.

You will collaborate with finance and program stakeholders, integrate data from SQL databases and Excel, and transform data to enable informed decision-making while ensuring data governance and security protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, data analytics, or related field.
• Must obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Security Clearance (US citizenship required).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including macros, pivot tables, formulas, charts, and data analysis techniques.
• Knowledge of database management systems such as SQL Server.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and multi-source data integration.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Three to five years of hands-on experience in financial analysis and Power BI development.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and conduct a wide range of financial data analyses.
• Develop, track and report program monthly financial metrics (funding, expenditures, travel).
• Process complex technical reports with tables, graphs, and charts.
• Attend technical reviews and provide status to customers.
