Job summary

Altech Solutions is hiring a Power BI Enterprise Reporting Specialist to run the enterprise reporting platform for NASA's facilities and real estate organization. This on-site role at a NASA center near you.

You will build, maintain, and optimize reports and dashboards on Maximo/MAS data, manage data gateways, enforce security, and train users. Strong SQL, DAX, data modeling, and collaboration with stakeholders are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of Power BI reporting and/or Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) reporting.
• Strong Power BI data modeling, DAX, and publishing workflows.
• Row- and column-level security (RLS/CLS) and role-based access control.
• SQL, plus scripting (Python a plus) to map and join siloed datasets.
• Comfortable on Windows and Linux, with strong troubleshooting skills.
• Clear communicator who can gather requirements from non-technical users and train them.

Responsibilities

• Own the Power BI reporting platform used by NASA's Office of Strategic Infrastructure, Facilities and Real Estate Division to track facilities maintenance and real estate across the agency.
• Build reports, dashboards, and KPIs on top of Maximo/MAS data; join datasets and keep data models fast and clean.
• Manage the Power BI Data Gateway for on-premises data; enforce row- and column-level security and RBAC; handle upgrades and performance tuning.
• Work with facilities stakeholders to translate questions into reports, train end users, and maintain documentation and SOPs.
