Job summary

Aperia is seeking a Power BI Developer to join our team for a 3-month contract. You will work on data reporting, dashboards, and analytics within the payments and compliance sectors, collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements and deliver timely insights.

Strong emphasis on Power BI, SQL, Excel, and automation is expected to drive improved decision making. The role requires hands-on BI development, data quality focus, and cross-functional collaboration with business and finance teams

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in business and IT program or project management.
Experience in the Financial Services and/or Payment industries.
Experience in data-driven management, metrics and reporting.
Strong Excel skills, including macros, pivot tables and charts/graphs.
Hands on experience in Power BI and SQL.
Familiarity with VBA and Python.

Responsibilities

Meeting with key stakeholders to define data and reporting requirements.
Producing and distributing daily, weekly and monthly reports to internal and external partners.
Leading projects to enhance data and reporting capabilities, including data quality and automation of manual processes.
Using data to generate insights by assessing KPIs and trends and presenting results to leaders.
Partnering with SMEs to understand data, analyze, perform deep dives, and summarize findings for management.
Providing support to business and finance stakeholders on ongoing initiatives.
