Job summary

Genpact seeks a Lead Consultant- Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain BI solutions using Power BI, connect to data sources, build data models, and publish reports and dashboards.

You will implement row-level security, optimize performance, collaborate with stakeholders, and follow governance best practices while staying up to date with Power BI features and Azure data services. Proficiency in Python or R for analytics is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering or related quantitative field

Responsibilities

• Connect to, import, and transform data from multiple sources (SQL Server, Azure SQL, Excel, SharePoint, web services)
• Design and develop optimized data models (star/snowflake schemas)
• Write complex DAX to create measures, columns and tables
• Create interactive Power BI reports and dashboards for business requirements
• Implement row-level security (RLS) and governance standards
• Monitor data refreshes, performance, and troubleshoot issues
