Job summary

Nextech, America’s largest HVAC/R service provider, seeks a Business Intelligence Developer to design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports while supporting on-prem SSRS reporting. You will work across Azure cloud environments, data warehouse architecture, and SQL Server systems to deliver scalable, actionable insights.

Key requirements include 3+ years of Power BI with AAS, 2+ years of ADF ETL development, and strong SQL skills. HVAC industry experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in CS, engineering or equivalent or 5+ years of relevant experience.
• 3+ years of Power BI dashboard development with AAS as backend.
• 2+ years building ETL pipelines with ADF.
• 2+ years developing and maintaining on-premises SSRS reports.
• Experience with SSAS and tabular models.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards/reports using AAS.
• Create and optimize DAX calculations and tabular models.
• Design and manage ETL pipelines with ADF to ingest data from multiple sources.
• Develop and support on-premises SSRS reports for operations.
• Write/optimize SQL queries across Azure SQL and on-prem SQL Server.
• Utilize SSAS/AA S for tabular models and enforce RLS and governance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable dashboards.
• Monitor and optimize performance of Power BI, AAS, and SSRS.
