Job summary

Brooksource is seeking a Data Analyst II to develop Power BI dashboards and trusted reporting solutions across portfolio, financial, resource, demand, and project management initiatives. You will translate business needs into executive-ready dashboards and reports, supporting modernization efforts and AI-enabled automation where applicable.

The role emphasizes data modeling, DAX, and performance optimization, with strong SQL and Snowflake experience to validate data and analyze relationships.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant data analytics or business intelligence experience.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Advanced hands-on Power BI experience including data modeling, DAX, dashboard/report development, and performance optimization.
• Strong SQL experience and experience with Snowflake or a comparable cloud data warehouse.
• Experience validating data, troubleshooting reporting issues, and working with enterprise reporting datasets.
• Ability to gather requirements, define KPIs, and develop reporting solutions that support business decisions.
• Strong communication skills with ability to work with technical teams and leadership.
• Healthcare industry experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and optimize Power BI dashboards and enterprise reporting solutions.
• Build and maintain data models, DAX logic, and reporting datasets.
• Use SQL and Snowflake to validate data, troubleshoot discrepancies, and analyze data relationships.
• Partner with business stakeholders and project managers to gather requirements and define KPIs.
• Translate business needs into executive-ready dashboards and reports.
• Support reporting modernization, Snowflake migration, certified dataset development, and reporting governance.
• Contribute to strategic analytics initiatives, including AI-enabled automation where applicable.
• Adapt to shifting priorities based on project and business needs.
