Smart Tech Skills LLC in Tallahassee, FL seeks a Senior Data Warehouse Analyst / Report Developer to design and maintain enterprise BI solutions with Power BI and Snowflake. You will develop semantic models, dashboards, and advanced DAX, and optimize SQL for high-performance analytics.

The candidate will collaboratively translate business needs into actionable reports, support data governance, and drive efficiencies across data pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics.
• 3–5+ years of hands-on Power BI development experience.
• Strong expertise in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, Semantic Models, Dataflows, Paginated Reports.
• Advanced SQL development experience.
• Experience with CTEs, Window Functions, Analytical Queries, Query Optimization.
• Strong understanding of Star Schema Design, Fact & Dimension Modeling, Dimensional Data Warehousing.
• Experience integrating Power BI with Snowflake and Snowflake administration.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise Power BI semantic models, dataflows, dashboards, and reports.
• Build advanced DAX calculations, measures, KPIs, and analytical logic.
• Create visually compelling, user-friendly, and high-performing dashboards.
• Develop and maintain paginated reports and enterprise reporting solutions.
• Optimize Power BI workspaces, datasets, and report performance.
• Design dimensional models using star schema and fact/dimension methodologies.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to optimize data structures for reporting.
• Support semantic layer development and enterprise reporting standards.
• Ensure reporting solutions align with data governance and architecture standards.
• Develop and optimize Snowflake-based reporting solutions.
• Perform Snowflake performance tuning, clustering, and compute management.
• Support warehouse sizing, workload management, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Utilize Snowflake RBAC and security best practices.
• Write complex SQL queries with CTEs, Window Functions, and Analytical Queries.
• Develop datasets and reporting views to support business requirements.
• Analyze and troubleshoot data quality and reporting issues.
• Integrate Power BI with Snowflake for optimal connectivity.
• Troubleshoot performance across DAX, SQL, Semantic Models, and Snowflake Compute Layers.
• Document data lineage, metadata, semantic models, and report specifications.
• Gather and analyze reporting requirements from stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into analytical solutions and executive dashboards.
