Job summary

Bi3 Careers is seeking an experienced Power BI Data Analyst to join our Enterprise Reporting & Analytics team in Center City Philadelphia. You will design and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards, partnering with business stakeholders to translate needs into technical solutions.

You'll model data in Snowflake using SQL, develop executive dashboards, and explore automation opportunities using AI tools like Copilot for Power BI. Hybrid onsite Tue-Thu.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 5–7 years of experience.
  • Strong Power BI hands-on experience with reports and dashboards.
  • Intermediate or stronger SQL skills.
  • Snowflake data warehouse experience.
  • Experience gathering requirements with stakeholders.
  • Strong data analysis, validation, and testing.
  • Excellent communication to explain data to nontechnical users.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Power BI Data Analyst to join an Enterprise Reporting & Analytics team. This role is ideal for someone who sits at the intersection of business and data, someone who is technically strong in Power BI, SQL, and Snowflake and can effectively partner with business stakeholders to turn data into meaningful reports, dashboards, and actionable insights.

What You Will Do
  • Design, build, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards supporting multiple business areas.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Analyze and model data in Snowflake using SQL.
  • Develop executive dashboards that turn complex data into clear, useful business insights.
  • Reduce repetitive reporting and development work by identifying opportunities for automation and leveraging tools such as Copilot for Power BI.
  • Create reusable Power BI templates, defined datasets, and style guides to improve efficiency and consistency across reporting.
  • Validate business logic and ensure the quality and accuracy of reporting and analytics.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, data engineers, and architects.
  • Maintain clean, well-documented report logic and contribute to reporting and analytics best practices.
  • Support testing, change control, and CI/CD processes.
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree and 5–7 years of related professional experience.
  • Strong hands-on Power BI experience, including developing reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
  • Intermediate or stronger SQL skills.
  • Experience working with Snowflake in a data warehouse environment.
  • Experience gathering requirements and working directly with business stakeholders.
  • Strong data analysis, validation, and testing skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex data to nontechnical users.
  • Working knowledge of statistics, wireframe design, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with AI tools in a data warehousing or analytics environment is a plus.
  • Experience with change control, testing frameworks, or CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
Work Arrangement
  • Hybrid position requiring onsite work in Center City Philadelphia Tuesday through Thursday.
