Job summary

Orion180 is seeking a Sr. Business Intelligence Developer to design and scale enterprise BI solutions using Power BI, DAX, and semantic models. You’ll partner with underwriting, distribution, and operations to deliver actionable insights and secure analytics governance across the organization.

Candidates should have 2+ years of advanced Power BI development, data modeling expertise, and experience with Python, SQL, and Azure Fabric. On-site role with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, CS, Mathematics, or related field.
• 2+ years in advanced Power BI development, semantic modeling, and optimization.
• Experience in data analysis, modeling, and visualization in finance/insurance.
• Proficient in Python and SQL for data analysis and automation.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Azure and Fabric preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain enterprise Power BI dashboards, reports, and scorecards.
• Create DAX calculations, KPIs, and calculation groups for analytic needs.
• Implement performance tuning and governance for BI assets.
• Develop centralized semantic models and self-service analytics datasets.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Establish data access controls and visualization standards.
