Job summary

Valiant Technologies LLC is seeking an experienced Power BI Administrator to manage and optimize the enterprise Power BI platform, including governance, security, and performance.

The role requires hands-on experience with Power BI Service, Premium Capacity, gateways, DAX, data modeling, Snowflake, SAP BW, and CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps.

Qualifications

• Enterprise Power BI administration experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Power BI Service, Premium Capacity, workspaces, datasets, and reports.
• Manage Power BI Gateways and ensure secure, reliable data connectivity.
• Monitor platform health, capacity, refresh schedules, and performance.
• Manage user access, permissions, security groups, and Row-Level Security (RLS).
• Provide L2/L3 production support and troubleshoot refresh failures, gateway issues, and performance bottlenecks.
• Optimize datasets, data models, DAX queries, and report performance.
• Implement Power BI governance, security, and compliance standards.
• Support healthcare data governance and regulatory requirements.
• Work with SAP BW and Snowflake data environments.
• Support CI/CD deployments using Azure DevOps and Power BI Deployment Pipelines.
• Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell and Power BI REST APIs.
• Prepare platform usage, capacity, SLA, and governance reports.
