Job summary

Robotic Technologies Automation is seeking a Power BI Platform Administrator to oversee service, capacity, and governance across the BI stack in a healthcare-focused environment.

The role requires hands-on management of Gateways, DAX optimization, and secure data connectivity, with experience in SAP BW and Snowflake. You will collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure high availability and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience administering Power BI platform in enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of healthcare data and regulatory requirements is a plus.
• Ability to implement security controls and governance.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support the Power BI platform including service, capacity, workspaces, datasets and reports.
• Manage and maintain Power BI Gateways for secure data connectivity.
• Monitor health, capacity, refresh schedules and performance for high availability.
• Manage user access, permissions and security groups including RLS controls.
• Strong healthcare domain knowledge.
• Knowledge of SAP BW is required.
• Hands-on Snowflake knowledge.
• Ensure data governance, security and healthcare regulatory compliance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues and failures.
• Provide L2/L3 support and collaborate with Microsoft/infrastructure teams.
• Optimize datasets, data models and DAX for performance.
• Establish and enforce Power BI governance and best practices.
• Conduct access reviews and capacity planning.
• Support CI/CD deployments using Azure DevOps and Power BI REST APIs.
• Automate admin tasks with PowerShell and Power BI APIs.
• Generate usage, capacity, SLA and governance reports.

Job description

• Administer and support the Power BI platform, including Service, Premium Capacity, workspaces, datasets, and reports.
• Manage and maintain Power BI Gateways for secure and reliable data connectivity.
• Monitor platform health, capacity, refresh schedules, and performance to ensure high availability.
• Manage user access, permissions, security groups, and implement RLS/security controls.
• Strong Health Care Domain knowledge.
• Should have a strong knowledge in Supply Chain Business
• Having SAP BW knowledge is a Must
• Should have hands on knowledge in Snowflake
• Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and healthcare regulatory requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues, refresh failures, gateway incidents, and performance bottlenecks.
• Provide L2/L3 operational support and collaborate with Microsoft and infrastructure teams on critical issues.
• Optimize datasets, data models, DAX queries, and report performance.
• Establish and enforce Power BI governance, standards, and best practices.
• Conduct access reviews, audits, capacity planning, and environment health checks.
• Support CI/CD deployments using Azure DevOps, Deployment Pipelines, and Power BI REST APIs.
• Automate administrative and monitoring tasks using PowerShell and Power BI APIs.
• Generate platform usage, capacity, SLA, and governance metrics and reports.
