Job summary

Robotic Technologies Automation is seeking an experienced Power BI platform administrator in the United States to support healthcare data environments. The role focuses on governance, security, and high-availability operations across Power BI services, gateways, and datasets.

The candidate will work with SAP BW, Snowflake, and Azure DevOps to optimize data models and reports while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaboration with MS and infrastructure teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Snowflake experience.
• Experience with data governance and security compliance.
• Provide L2/L3 operational support and collaborate with Microsoft and infrastructure teams.
• Knowledge of Power BI administration and governance.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support the Power BI platform, including Service, Premium Capacity, workspaces, datasets, and reports.
• Manage and maintain Power BI Gateways for secure and reliable data connectivity.
• Monitor platform health, capacity, refresh schedules, and performance to ensure high availability.
• Manage user access, permissions, security groups, and implement RLS/security controls.
• Conduct access reviews, audits, capacity planning, and environment health checks.
• Support CI/CD deployments using Azure DevOps, Deployment Pipelines, and Power BI REST APIs.
• Automate administrative and monitoring tasks using PowerShell and Power BI APIs.
• Generate platform usage, capacity, SLA, and governance metrics and reports.

• Administer and support the Power BI platform, including Service, Premium Capacity, workspaces, datasets, and reports.
• Manage and maintain Power BI Gateways for secure and reliable data connectivity.
• Monitor platform health, capacity, refresh schedules, and performance to ensure high availability.
• Manage user access, permissions, security groups, and implement RLS/security controls.
• Strong Health Care Domain knowledge.
• Should have a strong knowledge in Supply Chain Business
• Having SAP BW knowledge is a Must
• Should have hands on knowledge in Snowflake
• Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and healthcare regulatory requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues, refresh failures, gateway incidents, and performance bottlenecks.
• Provide L2/L3 operational support and collaborate with Microsoft and infrastructure teams on critical issues.
• Optimize datasets, data models, DAX queries, and report performance.
• Establish and enforce Power BI governance, standards, and best practices.
• Conduct access reviews, audits, capacity planning, and environment health checks.
• Support CI/D deployments using Azure DevOps, Deployment Pipelines, and Power BI REST APIs.
• Automate administrative and monitoring tasks using PowerShell and Power BI APIs.
• Generate platform usage, capacity, SLA, and governance metrics and reports.
