Pro Staff in Westminster, MD is hiring a Powder Room Operator for a temporary assignment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will operate mixing and blending equipment, monitor processes, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Pay: $20.00/hour

Are you experienced with chemical mixing, manufacturing, production operations, or machine operation? We are hiring a Powder Room Operator for a temporary opportunity with a growing production team in Westminster, MD.

This hands-on manufacturing role is responsible for operating mixing and blending equipment, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a safe, efficient production environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up, operate, and monitor mixing and blending machinery
  • Measure and combine materials according to production specifications
  • Inspect and monitor the mixing process to ensure product consistency and quality
  • Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance issues
  • Maintain accurate production and quality documentation
  • Follow established safety procedures when handling chemicals and production materials
  • Support compliance with company quality and safety standards
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Previous manufacturing, production, machine operator, chemical processing, or mixing experience preferred
  • Relevant vocational or technical training is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
  • Ability to wear required PPE, including masks, goggles, gloves, and protective clothing
  • Comfortable working with measurements, formulas, chemicals, and production processes
