Job summary

Hyperion Materials & Technologies Inc. is seeking a production operator to run process and off-line equipment, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. You will operate presses, mills, furnaces and handling of chemicals while following LEAN practices.

The role includes training peers, performing basic maintenance, and maintaining accurate production records in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work overtime during periods of high order volume.
• Must be able to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift.

Responsibilities

• Participate in team initiatives to identify and resolve safety issues.
• Develop LEAN solutions throughout manufacturing.
• Operate production equipment safely and independently.
• Operate automated machinery, presses, mills, and furnaces.
• Handle hazardous chemicals and perform basic preventative maintenance.
• Complete housekeeping in assigned work area and training of others.
• Adhere to documented work instructions and maintain quality measures.
