Hyperion Materials & Technologies Inc. in Michigan is seeking a manufacturing operator to run and monitor production equipment, including presses, mills and automated systems. You will follow safety standards and quality procedures while engaging in LEAN improvements across the line.

The role requires the ability to operate across 1st, 2nd or 3rd shifts, perform basic maintenance, and train others on safe practices. Strong teamwork and reliability are essential.

Formación

• Good interpersonal, cooperative and team -oriented skills.
• Proven independent performer that needs minimal supervision.
• Ability to use production management tools including LEAN and material management systems, and maintain throughput/quality records.
• Manual dexterity required to accurately handle and position parts.
• Lifting and transport of materials (20-40 lbs).
• Ability to comprehend and apply training to operate manufacturing production equipment listed above.
• Ability to effectively balance priorities and multiple tasks to achieve overall production goals.
• MUST be able to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and run standard process equipment and off-line equipment (presses, mills) safely.
• Identify and resolve safety issues with team.
• Develop LEAN solutions throughout manufacturing.
• Operate automated machinery, presses, mills, furnaces.
• Handle hazardous chemicals safely.
• Perform hand assemblies of product, blends, sieved material.
• Interpret results from gauges, microscopes, go/no-go gauges, and visual standards.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance and housekeeping.
• Train others on safe operation of manufacturing equipment.
• Follow documented work instructions and communicate quality concerns.
