Job summary

Hyperion Materials & Technologies is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to run production equipment (presses, mills, furnaces) while upholding strict safety and quality standards. You will operate automated machinery, perform minor setups, and participate in LEAN initiatives to improve manufacturing processes.

Ideal candidates will be able to balance multiple tasks, work overtime when required, and use basic computer tools to document throughput and quality data.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; education/experience blend accepted.
• Able to perform duties with minimal supervision and strong safety awareness.
• Experience with LEAN, material management systems, and maintenance of throughput/quality records.

Responsibilities

• Operate and safely run production equipment (presses, mills, furnaces) per instructions.
• Interpret results from gauges, scales, microscopes, and visual standards.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance and setup/troubleshooting on production equipment.
• Train others on safe operation of manufacturing equipment.
• Maintain housekeeping in assigned area and adhere to work instructions.
• Communicate quality concerns to technical support when needed.
