Job summary

Hyperion Materials & Technologies Inc. in Kentucky is seeking a hands-on operator to run process and off-line equipment used for producing super abrasives. You will adhere to strict safety and quality standards while performing setup, basic maintenance, and tool changes.

Candidates should be able to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts and be willing to assist with housekeeping and training of others on equipment operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize production goals.

Responsibilities

• Operate and run standard process equipment and off-line equipment safely.
• Identify and resolve safety issues and participate in LEAN initiatives.
• Operate automated machinery, presses, furnaces, grinders and robotic equipment.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance and setup changes as needed.
• Maintain quality records and communicate concerns to technical staff.
• Train others on safe operation of manufacturing equipment.
