Job summary

Hyperion Materials & Technologies in Irwin, PA seeks a hands-on Manufacturing Operator to run process and off-line equipment, while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.

You will participate in lean initiatives, operate presses, grinders, furnaces and automated machinery, perform basic maintenance, and train others on safe practices. This full-time role requires flexibility to work 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to operate manufacturing production equipment listed above.
• Willingness to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift and overtime.
• Good interpersonal and team skills.
• Ability to balance priorities and multiple tasks to meet production goals.

Responsibilities

• Operate standard process and off-line equipment to production standards.
• Participate in LEAN initiatives to identify safety issues.
• Safely operate automated machinery, presses, lathes, mills, furnaces, and robots.
• Perform minor maintenance and setup changes; assist with troubleshooting.
• Maintain housekeeping and quality records; communicate quality concerns.
