Job summary

FUJIFILM Biosciences in Santa Ana, CA is hiring a Powder Milling & Cleaning Tech for first shift. You will operate milling systems and assist in cleaning, ensuring batch weights are accurate and SOPs are followed.

The role requires 1-2 years of hands-on experience and working knowledge of the metric system. Responsibilities include safety, documentation, sample handling, and maintaining clean, organized equipment and work areas in a GMP environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Background in medical devices, diagnostics, pharma, or related fields.
• 1-2 years hands-on experience.
• College-level science knowledge preferred.
• Working knowledge of the metric system.
• Good understanding of cGMPs.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate milling systems (impact, ball, jar mills) and large-volume blender.
• Use Mettler-Toledo IND780 with SAP ERP to ensure batch weights.
• Perform line clearance at milling start.
• Obtain samples and forward to QC.
• Suggest SOP improvements as needed.
• Maintain logs and documentation.
• Store and label chemicals properly.
• Conduct process scale checks on equipment.
• Keep area, utensils, tanks, mills, and equipment clean and organized.
• Ensure supplies are stocked and order as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Handle chemicals per procedures.
• Operate dry heat oven, autoclave, and cleaning systems.
• Participate in 6S program.
• Other duties as requested.
