Job summary

Ice Industries Inc is seeking a Paint Booth Technician to set up and operate powder and internal liquid coating equipment. You will handle pre-shift setup, maintenance of guns, hoses, and lines, and ensure proper coating levels and cleanliness within the booth.

The role requires high school diploma or equivalent and prior experience in a paint booth or paint line, along with the ability to understand written and oral instructions and proper PPE use.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience working in a paint booth or on a paint line.
• Ability to understand written and oral instructions.
• Knowledge and proper use of safety equipment and PPE.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate powder and internal liquid coating equipment.
• Perform pre-shift setup and start-up, including cleaning injectors, hoses and guns.
• Maintain coating equipment, replace/repair parts as needed.
• Ensure proper coating levels and cleanliness of booths and rooms.
• Check film thickness and conduct tests to ensure product quality.
• Escalate mechanical or quality issues promptly.
• Overtime may be required as business conditions dictate.
