Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Surface Preparation: Thoroughly clean and prepare metal surfaces for powder coating.
• Powder Coating Application: Apply coatings using electrostatic spray guns for even coverage.
• Curing Process: Operate curing ovens to cure the powder coating according to specs.
• Quality Control: Inspect finishes for flaws and perform touch-ups as needed.
• Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain powder coating equipment.
• Workplace Safety: Follow safety guidelines in the powder coating area.

As a Powder CoatPainter,youwillberesponsibleforapplyinghigh-qualityfinishestovariousmetalproducts using powder coating techniques. Yourexpertisein surface preparation, paint application, and curing processes will ensure that our products meet the highest standards of appearance, durability,andcorrosionresistance.Youwillplayacrucialroleinenhancingthevisualappealand functionality of our products, contributing to overall customer satisfaction. You willoperatemanual paint guns on the powder coat line as well as spraying parts.

KeyResponsibilities:

• Surface Preparation:Thoroughly clean and prepare metal surfaces for powder coating by using various methods such as cleaning agents, sanding, masking, and other surface preparation techniques.
• Powder Coating Application: Skillfully apply powder coatings to metal products using electrostatic spray guns, ensuring even and consistent coverage while minimizing waste.
• Curing Process:Operatecuring ovens to properly cure the powder coating, adhering to specified time and temperature settings to achieve the desired finish.
• QualityControl:Inspectfinishedproductsforflaws,irregularities,andadherence to quality standards; perform necessary touch-ups or rework as needed tomaintainhigh-quality finishes.
• Equipment Maintenance:Maintain andclean powder coating equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety.
• Workplace Safety: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols while handling materials,operatingequipment, and working in the powder coating area.

Preferredqualifications:

CandidatemusthavesomeorallofthefollowingEducational/Technicalrequirements:

• Technicalcertificationorvocationaltraininginpowdercoatingapplicationor relatedfieldis preferred, but not mandatory.
