Job description

We are seeking an Industrial Painter and Powder Coater. This is a full‑time position with a local facility focusing on metal fabrication. The job consists of prepping, powder coating, and finishing. Must have at least 2 years of powder coat experience.

Pay: $24-$27 per hour, dependent on experience.

Schedule: 1st Shift – Monday to Friday, 8–10 hours per day with some Saturdays.

Health insurance available after 90 days of employment; paid time off (PTO) offered during the first 30 days; overtime available; weekly pay.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and clean metal surfaces for coating, including sanding, masking, and applying pre‑treatment.
• Apply powder coating materials to a variety of fabricated parts using spray equipment.
• Operate and maintain powder coating equipment, ovens, and spray guns.
• Ensure proper curing of coated parts by monitoring oven temperatures and bake times.
• Inspect finished products for quality, coverage, and adherence to company standards.
• Touch up, rework, or recoat parts when necessary.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Assist with material handling, hanging, and packaging of finished products.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet daily schedules and deadlines.
