Job summary

HuFriedyGroup is seeking a Paint Technician to operate manual and automated powder coating equipment, preparing, coating, curing, and inspecting components to meet strict finish and quality standards. The role follows work instructions and 5S safety principles to ensure efficient production.

The ideal candidate has powder coating experience, familiarity with Lean manufacturing tools, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Experience powder coating or similar manufacturing process.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools: 5S, Visual Management, Waste elimination, root-cause problem solving.
• Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operates powder coating equipment per work instructions and quality standards.
• Prepares, positions, coats, and cures parts in the powder coating process.
• Reads drawings and specifications and records production data in SAP.
• Inspects finished components for coating thickness and quality.
• Maintains safety and 5S standards in the workspace.
• Coordinates workflow to support production aims and meet schedules.
• Performs additional prep and auxiliary duties as needed.
