Standard Iron, a leader in contract manufacturing, is seeking a dependable Finisher for the Powder Coat Paint Department. You will prep parts, deburr, grind, and inspect quality to ensure readiness for the next production step in a safety-focused team environment.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to operate hand and power tools, and a commitment to meeting daily production goals while upholding quality standards and safe practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or metal fabrication preferred.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools and grinding/finishing equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and production documentation.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and prepare metal parts for powder coating by removing burrs and imperfections.
• Use hand and power tools to smooth surfaces and prepare parts per quality specs.
• Inspect parts before and after finishing for defects.
• Ensure parts meet standards and customer requirements.
• Safely move and organize parts and materials for the powder coating process.
• Assist with hanging, masking, and preparing parts as needed.
• Operate department equipment following procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and support team goals.
