MWG is seeking a Powder Coat Painter for our Cincinnati, OH facility. The role involves operating the powder coating booth, running dry off and cure ovens, and maintaining accurate production records during shifts.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in powder coating and a strong understanding of quality requirements. Candidates should be prepared to work indoors in an industrial setting with appropriate safety measures in place.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in powder coating.
• Experienced in powder coating quality requirements.
• Licensures and Certifications: None
• Education: High School graduate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate powder coating booth and monitor equipment and processes.
• Set and operate cure ovens and record temperatures/settings.
• Document powder usage and log production runs accurately.
• Log in/out of jobs in a timely manner and maintain shift records.
• Optimize painting process to improve throughput and efficiency.
• Perform booth cleanups and changeovers; ensure equipment is cleaned properly.
• Store paints properly to prevent cross-contamination and waste.
• Minimize powder usage by adjusting equipment as needed.
• Report maintenance issues to Line Leader or Supervisor as they occur.
