Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains paint guns, spray equipment, reclaim equipment, and other booth tools per manufacturer instructions and procedures.
• Applies powder coating to metal parts with precision and consistency.
• Monitors booth temperature, humidity and other environmental factors for optimal painting conditions.
• Prepares parts prior to painting (masking, cleaning, inspecting for defects).
• Performs powder coat color changes per daily production plan.
• Refills powder coat hopper as needed.
• Maintains cleanliness of paint booth and surrounding area.
• Conducts quality checks after painting for surface smoothness and conformance.
• Troubleshoots and resolves equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
