LayerZero Power Systems, Inc. is hiring a Powder Coating Operator in Aurora, Ohio. This on-site role focuses on applying powder to metal surfaces, operating coating equipment, and maintaining safety. Candidate will read specs, inspect parts, and ensure consistent coating quality.

Responsibilities include loading parts, performing touch-ups, maintaining 5S, and collaborating with team members to meet production standards. High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and quality specs.
• Experience in finishing or manufacturing environment helpful.

Responsibilities

• Operate powder coating equipment and maintain safety standards.
• Load/unload parts from overhead conveyor or racks.
• Touch-up parts in booth using manual powder coating guns.
• Ensure proper adhesion and coverage of powder coating.
• Read specifications and inspect parts for defects; perform quality checks.
• Maintain 5S in the work area and assist teammates as needed.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors to complete jobs.
