The role requires preparation, equipment operation, and adherence to safety procedures. The position emphasizes collaboration with project managers, hands-on work with surface preparation, and maintaining a clean, compliant work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in industrial powder coating.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and work instructions.
• Knowledge of different paints, finishes, and application techniques.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Must have a Driver's License and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare surfaces for painting; remove coatings if needed using blasting methods.
• Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment and ensure adhesion with primers and sealers.
• Operate spray equipment (airless/electrostatic) and manage various finishes.
• Maintain painting equipment and workspace; clean up after jobs.
• Review work orders and follow safety policies at all times.
• Assist other manufacturing departments as directed by management.
