Martin Painting & Coating Co. seeks a Coating Project Technician to support commercial and industrial coating projects from preparation through completion. You will work with the project team, assisting with application, equipment, materials, detail work, and cleanup.

Qualifications

• Previous painting, coating, construction, or maintenance experience preferred.
• Commercial or industrial experience is a plus.
• Ability to learn and follow coating procedures.
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
• Physically able to perform field work.
• Comfortable working at heights.
• Must be clean shaven for respirator compliance.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Smartphone required for timesheets and communication.
• Availability to work at least two weekends per month.
• Strong focus on safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily coating project activities.
• Prepare assigned surfaces before coating.
• Assist with paint and coating application.
• Use brushes, rollers, and approved application equipment.
• Complete touch-ups and detail work.
• Help organize materials and equipment at the jobsite.
• Protect areas that are not being coated.
• Maintain tools and equipment.
• Keep work areas organized and clean.
• Assist with project setup and final cleanup.
• Follow jobsite safety procedures and project requirements.
• Work safely around ladders, lifts, scaffolding, and other equipment.
