Qualifications

• 2+ years finishing experience preferred, but not required.
• Mechanically inclined with strong knowledge of powder coating, pretreatment, and wastewater systems.
• Team-oriented, self-starter with strong quality focus and attention to detail.
• Ability to document test results, communicate with team, and access SDS.
• Willingness to obtain certifications including respirator, LOTO, Haz-Comm, SDS, PPE, forklift, fire extinguisher, crane operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate the pretreatment and wastewater systems.
• Support paint line operations ~50%: part handling, painting, material movement, inspection.
• Check chemical levels and perform cleaning of pretreatment system.
• Monitor coating weights and document findings.
• Coordinate with paint line personnel on breaks and production support.
• Troubleshoot paint line issues and implement corrective actions.
• Drive improvements in safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
• Provide technical support to environmental, maintenance, engineering and production teams.
