Job summary

East Side Plating is seeking a Powder Coater for the Day Shift. The role involves applying powder coat paint to parts and supporting the painting process from setup to completion.

Responsibilities include maintaining the spray booth, directing shift priorities, and operating the coating gun. Candidates should be able to read and communicate in English, perform inspections, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Visual inspection prior to coating to prevent quality issues.
• Coating thickness inspection to ensure customer specs are met.
• Able to read, write and communicate in English and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain spray booth and coating equipment.
• Direct shift priorities with racking personnel to maintain throughput.
• Operate powder application gun to apply coating to parts.
• Suggest improvements and assist in designing racks, fixtures, and masking used in painting.
• Record work order information in computer.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain quality and productivity standards.
