Job summary

SCI in Rockdale, IL is seeking a 2nd shift Shipping & Powder Coating Supervisor to lead the Paint/Powder Coating, Metals, and Shipping teams. You will drive safety, quality, productivity, and housekeeping while upholding company values and strong employee relations.

Responsibilities include setting production goals, assigning tasks, mentoring staff, monitoring timekeeping, coordinating equipment maintenance, inventory in Epicor, and ensuring on-time, within-budget shipments in collaboration with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher required; 2–4 years in manufacturing shipping/receiving, metalworking, or powder coating.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Epicor ERP.

Responsibilities

• Lead 2nd shift Paint/Powder Coating, Metals and Shipping departments; drive safety, quality, productivity and housekeeping.
• Set production goals and ensure schedules are followed; assign work to meet on-time, within-budget shipments.
• Train and coach staff; monitor performance, timekeeping and records; provide feedback.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and oversee loading/unloading, coating applications, and inventory adjustments in Epicor.
• Ensure shipments meet SCI standards and manage product components to complete packaging and dispatch.
