Job summary

SCI in Rockdale, IL is seeking a 2nd shift Shipping & Powder Coating Supervisor (4:00pm – 12:30am). The role oversees Paint/Powder Coating, Metals, and Shipping, leading safety, quality, productivity, and housekeeping while upholding company values.

You will set production goals, assign work, train staff, and monitor performance. Requirements include a high school diploma, 2–4 years in manufacturing, and 2+ years supervisory experience, with blueprint reading and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher required with 2–4 years in manufacturing (shipping/receiving, metals, or powder coating).
• At least 2 years supervisory experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.

Responsibilities

• Set production goals and ensure schedules are followed.
• Assign work to meet on-time, in-budget, and specs requirements.
• Train and coach staff to maintain productive operations and safety.
• Monitor productivity, timekeeping, and personnel records with constructive feedback.
