Job summary

Daifuku Intralogistics America Corporation in Hobart, IN is seeking a Powder Coat Supervisor (2nd Shift) to oversee shop employees, support manufacturing and safety objectives, and ensure efficient workflow. The role requires on-site work from 2:00pm to 10:30pm with occasional Saturdays, and strong Excel/data analysis skills.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years manufacturing experience, supervisory exposure, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Education and Experience Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience; Supervisory experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Leads the daily work of the team, including scheduling staff and planning/assigning work.
• Direct employees to meet quality and on-time delivery requirements and communicate issues to managers.
• Maintain timekeeping and attendance records and ensure adherence to policies.
• Lead 6S improvements and drive efficiency improvements with the team.
• Provide technical guidance and coaching to team members and support cross-functional collaboration.
• Monitor productivity and provide feedback to improve performance and output.
