Job summary

Qualifications

• A.S. in a technical or management field.
• 2 years supervisory experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles to include 5S, SMED, Gemba.

Responsibilities

• Direct production lines to meet shift goals; coordinate start-ups, shut-downs, change-overs.
• Oversee training of employees and safety compliance; administer disciplinary actions.
• Staff scheduling, vacations, overtime; participate in department meetings.
• Conduct safety audits and tool box talks; enforce PPE and ergonomics policies.
• Develop reports on forecasts, productivity, safety; lead process audits.
• Lead Kaizen events on 5S, standard work, SMED and process flow.
