Job summary

East Side Plating Inc. is hiring a Racker for the day shift to hang customer parts on racks before the powder coating stage. The role requires attention to quality, basic data entry, and a proactive approach to process improvements.

You will work in a team-oriented environment, follow written and oral instructions, and adhere to safety guidelines while maintaining productivity and quality standards. Prep includes masking parts and lifting up to 40 lbs in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Visual inspection of parts to prevent quality issues.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Able to stand for the full shift.
• Ability to lift parts and push carts up to 40 lbs.
• Able to wear gloves and safety glasses.

Responsibilities

• Places parts on racks/carts/fixtures in advance of the powder coating process.
• Applies masking and/or plugs to parts per customer specifications.
• Makes recommendations for improvements.
• Tracks and records work order information in computer.
• Follows safety guidelines and maintains quality and productivity standards.
